Online Hypnosis is Easy with Skype
Hypnosis is one of the most safest and easiest ways to heal your mind and body. Yet their are some countries that frown upon hypnotherapy saying that it is mind control, that people can be hypnotized to do all sorts of bad things and for that reason it is illegal. Well for the people living in those countries that need hypnotherapy and are smart enough to know that it is not mind control, I am thrilled to announce that there is a way… Hooray for the computer and the internet because now we can go online and use skype for hypnosis!
People ask me if doing hypnosis over Skype is as effective as doing it in person. Absolutely! In fact I think that it is even more effective because you are in the comfort of your own home and surroundings, feeling safe and secure. When we do the online hypnosis sessions your eyes are closed and you are listening to my voice, this is exactly the same as it would be in my office, just more convenient for you. I have done hundreds of online hypnosis sessions via skype and people have fabulous experiences. What are you waiting for? This could be the pivot point in your life. You don’t think you were led to this page by chance did you?

Will I bark like a dog or cluck like a chicken?
Let me guess: you’ve seen a stage show where a hypnotist made people do all these crazy things. The stage hypnotist carefully selects his subjects and he chooses people he knows WILL bark like a dog. They will because somewhere inside them is a part that loves to entertain.
Hypnosis can not make you do something that is against your morals or ethics. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, in truth, and no hypnotist can make you do something that you really don’t want to do. You have to want the change, agree with the change, and then hypnosis is an instrument for helping make that change better, faster, and permanent.

The Proof is in the Pudding!
When I’m unmotivated, stuck or feel swallowed by life, I have found Hypnotherapy quick and painless to pull me back into the moment, restoring me to a place of possibility. Every hypnotic event has been pleasurable and productive. I have enjoyed my relationship with each Hypnotherapist. However, my hypnotic experience with Kelly with whom I have had two sessions is unique. The change I wanted came about instantaneously and has had comprehensive affect over my well being.
While in trance if Kelly made a suggestion that triggered a defense mechanism or I thought that was the direction she was heading, my resistance would have brought me to full awakening and the sessions would not have been the therapeutic success they have been. Kelly intuitively knew when she had approached that boundary. I don’t think she was conscious of that. There was be a fleeting, gentle pause, as if she were listening to a *knowing*, in her polished, elegantly delivered technique. Each time this happened she resumed with precisely what I was able to accept as truth. This supported me in deep trance. Kelly’s declarations crystallized the birth place of the best current version of me. I was able to untangle barriers defending chaotic thinking patterns keeping me from considering and accepting new, more relevant paths.
Kelly is an earnest, generous, person with a sweet functional innocence about her. This is what makes her an exceptional Hypnotherapist willing to embrace *whispers of knowing* and to risk course correction to accommodate the needs of her client. She remains by your side throughout your session. I have purchased her CD’s which I find soothing and effective. I highly recommend Hypnotherapy, with Kelly. Welcome to Ashland, Kelly!

Please allow me to introduce Kelly Mcloughlin, Hypnotherapist. I had the good fortune while in Santa Fe NM to see Ms Mcloughlin in her professional capacity as a Hypnotherapist. The issue was very old and hidden amongst a myriad of other memories. Ms Mcloughlins technique, methods and protocols were exemplary and successful. Although it may be hard to understand how something from so long ago can affect our adult lives, I can state categorically the work that Kelly Mcloughlin did with me both identified the issue and removed the emotional impact the issue has had on my self esteem for most of my life. The results of the work Ms Mcloughlin did has allowed for an increase in the scope of my life. Events I would have avoided before my session I now will participate in without hesitation.

I had the most wonderful and life changing hypnotherapy session with Kelly. I feel light as a feather, like years of emotional toxins have been removed. I am still amazed at how easily and profoundly this has changed my life. Thank you Kelly, looking forward to our next sessions.

A client came in with a tremendous fear of driving and cars in general. She has had this fear all her life. She told me that over the years she had been in multiple accidents and had been hit twice as a pedestrian on two different occasions. She was not at fault in these accidents, the drivers were. Now I ask you, what are the odds that someone gets hit twice as a pedestrian – very slim. The odds of getting hit once are pretty slim but twice? During the hypnosis sessions that followed she mentioned that her father was a surgeon, and back when she was a kid he would tell all of his children horror stories of the people who had come in for surgery after being in car accidents. He would talk about the loss of limbs, disfiguration of faces and bodies, people who were paralyzed for life, and on and on. In his mind he was trying to teach them about cars and driving and the implications of what could happen if they were careless, but for my client he terrified her to the point that she did not learn to drive until her 30’s and that was out of pure necessity. Now in her late 60’s she is still terrified of cars and what can happen. This belief that was instilled into her as a child by her well meaning father has tormented her her whole life and that belief has created the accidents that have happened to her over the years. “What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. – Job 3:25.”
This is a great story to emphasize just how powerful our beliefs are and how they affect our lives. But, so many of the beliefs we harbor are not as obvious. Here is an example of a belief that most of us have: money doesn’t grow on trees, you have to work hard to make money, rich people are snobs, it’s not spiritual to have money, you need money to make money. Can you think of a few more? I’m sure you can. So how do you think a person’s life would be if they believed in any of the above statements? Do you think they’d be rich? Absolutely not. They would be struggling month after month. “What you believe to be true will manifest for you.”
What are some of the beliefs that you are carrying around that are causing unwanted behaviors and results in your life? Another client watched her younger sibling die. She felt so guilty that she was spared and she adopted the belief that she didn’t deserve to live either and manifested a terminal disease.
The good news is… I know you’ve been waiting for the solution… you can easily change your beliefs with hypnosis. It is the quickest and easiest way. In six sessions you can be free from the suffering. What are you waiting for?? Call me today for a free telephone consultation and let’s start reprogramming those beliefs. Why Am I Always Sick? I Don’t Deserve Wellness. God is Punishing Me!
Did you know that your beliefs about yourself could make you or break you?
Take Katie for instance, she is 6 years old and in 1st grade. The teacher has been teaching the kids spelling all day, teacher is tired has a headache, just wants the day to be over. She calls Katie up to the board and tells her to spell “cat”. Katie goes up and writes “kat” on the board. All of the kids start laughing and making fun of her, “you’re stupid, you can’t spell.” She looks over at the teacher for some support and sees the teacher rubbing her throbbing head, eyes closed and looking weary. All of a sudden a seed (a belief) is planted in Katie’s subconscious mind, “I’m stupid, I can’t spell, I’m a disappointment.”
The all powerful subconscious mind now believes “I am stupid, I can’t spell, I am a disappointment.” Because the subconscious believes this it will create events and scenarios that reinforce that belief – Katie struggles her whole life with spelling, not her strong point. She is deathly afraid of pubic speaking, and she constantly sabotages herself, reinforcing the belief that she is a disappointment.
We all carry limiting beliefs that hold us back from experiencing a fuller more happy life. The most common I see are: I’m not worthy of (health), I don’t deserve (money), money is the root of all evil, I’m unlovable, I’m a failure. Some people are aware of their limiting beliefs but most people do not know what’s holding them back.
Think about it… how would someone be if they unconsciously believed that they were not worthy of health, how would they be if they believed themselves to be unlovable. You get the picture right? So maybe now you’re thinking about what your limiting beliefs could be and realizing why certain things have been happening over and over again throughout your life. And you may be saying, “Ok Kelly, that’s all fine and dandy, I now see why I am so stuck in my life, but how do I fix it?
Well, there is a way. You have to reprogram your subconscious mind with the new belief, “I am worthy, I deserve etc.” Unfortunately just repeating the affirmation over and over is not going to change the belief and this is why: let’s use “I don’t deserve health” as an example. Over the course of your life you have been sick a lot, been in accidents, now you are in your 40’s and you have a disease.
Because the conscious mind is observing, remembering and living these experiences it is almost impossible to convince the subconscious that it’s just a belief and can be changed.
A quick reminder: our conscious mind is the captain of the ship and the subconscious takes all of its instructions from the captain, good, bad, right or wrong, the subconscious just obeys. If the conscious mind believes something to be true, the subconscious believes it too.
The quickest and easiest way to reprogram the subconscious mind is with hypnosis. (You knew that was coming didn’t you?)
During hypnotic trance we bypass the part of the conscious mind that is remembering the years of pain and struggle, and because the conscious mind is out of the picture for a while the subconscious begins to take instructions from the hypnotherapist. The hypnotherapist starts the process of reprogramming the subconscious with positive beliefs.
When that critical conscious mind is out of the picture while in hypnosis the subconscious becomes highly responsive, it’s like a sponge, absorbing all the good, positive suggestions. People begin noticing in the days and weeks that follow, that they are thinking differently, talking differently, and that positive permanent changes are happening in their lives like magic.
When do you think you’ll have suffered enough? It doesn’t have to be that way. You can heal your life!

What are you Telling Your Body
This month we are going to discuss “Organ Talk.” And no, this is not a conversation about the family jewels!
How we speak to ourselves is so very important. We have over 50 trillion cells in our body and they all have a consciousness, they listen to everything we say and they act accordingly. If we are constantly berating ourselves and beating up on ourselves how do you think our cells (organs, bodies) feel.
I tell my clients to treat their bodies like a two year old child trying to walk. You wouldn’t laugh and make fun of a baby who falls down when trying to walk would you? Imagine saying, “you loser, you can’t even walk, you’re such a failure?” But, this is how we talk to ourselves constantly.
Now if you remember from previous articles, our subconscious mind is what runs the show, it runs our whole body and all it’s functions. The subconscious also takes all of its commands from the conscious mind. It the conscious mind says, “I can’t afford it, I don’t deserve it, I’m not good enough, I’m so stupid, etc.,” the subconscious obliges by saying, “your wish is my command.” It goes even further by saying, “watch, I’ll show you how obedient I am, I’ll create scenarios and events that will reinforce what you just said.”
A friend of mine had been working around the clock and kept saying: “I need a break.” One day as she came out of the house she slipped off the curb and broke her ankle. She was able to take some time off work, but what a way to do it.
Some of you may remember this story, which is very dear and close to my heart. My parents are originally from England and had been living in the USA for 14 years and trying to make a life here. As they got older they realized that they would not be able to retire comfortably in the US and my mom suggested going back to England. My dad was mortified about returning to the cold, miserable British Isles. He kept saying to my mom, “over my dead body am I going back.” They did end up going back and within 6 months he had developed cancer. His subconscious was very obedient and gave him exactly what he kept affirming.
So what is it that you are saying to yourself? Just remember the subconscious takes everything literally and everything you say is an affirmation. read more →
